Electric bus design and planning . The Ministry of Environment of Egypt invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the following: Electric Bus (e-bus) Demonstration Project Detailed Planning and Design Study for Cairo Transport Authority (CTA). Scope: The scope of work will be conducted in: 1. Inception Report and e-mobility context assessment, 2. Development of a service and operational plan for an e-bus demonstration project, 3. Development of e-bus specifications, 4. Detailed engineering design and develop bidding documents for bus depot ,retrofitting works and related infrastructure improvements, 5. Development of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) and Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCPs) including Black Carbon (BC) accounting and measuring methodology, 6. Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), 7. Capacity Building and Implementation Support, 8. E-Bus Scale-up Strategy.
